Do we need to use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager?
We work mainly in GA4 and GTM as it is standard but we adapt to your tools and needs. We have experience with Matomo, Piwik Pro and Adobe Analytics as well.
What is the difference between client-side and server-side tracking?
Client-side runs in the browser — and is increasingly blocked by adblockers and browser settings. Server-side runs through your server and gives you better control, better data quality, and less data loss.
How do I know which KPIs I should measure?
We will help you define them. What we measure should be linked to actual business goals — not just traffic and clicks. The goal is to measure what matters, not what just looks good in a report.
Is Google Analytics illegal?
Not per se. But how it is used can become a problem. What has been raised in the media is that data was sent to servers in the United States without adequate protection — which violates the GDPR. With the right settings, anonymization and Google Consent Mode, you can still legally use GA4. We make sure that your setup follows the rules, without losing any insight.
